摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make calculation processing efficient, and to provide an amino acid sequence identifying method of high accuracy. SOLUTION: An amino acid sequence identifying device is provided with an input means of inputting a mass spectrum; a candidate amino acid retrieving means for calculating an amino acid combination considered, based on the mass of a precursor, for calculating a difference between a theoretical mass value of amino acid, observed mass value, calculated from a mass charge ratio of the specified mass spectra out of the mass spectra input from the input means, for identifying the difference within a prescribed range out of the calculated differences, and for determining N number of amino acids used for calculating the identified difference as the candidate amino acid of (d+1)th-(d+N)th amino acid; an evaluation value computing means for narrowing the amino acid identifying candidates according to the amino acid combinations, and for computing evaluation values respectively by using a normalized relative ionic strength calculated from an ionic strength as to each of the candidate amino acids, and the probability of the ease of cleavage of an amino acid helix, in evaluation functions; and an identification means for identifying an amino acid sequence in a peptide fragment, by using the evaluation values.
