PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the front padding of a jacket, which is formed in a three-dimensional shape in a state reducing the change of a distance between the side and waist of the jacket as much as possible, and facilitates a work for setting the front padding to the face side fabric. SOLUTION: This front padding of the jacket, formed by preparing a collar front side portion 2 and a breast side portion 3 divided along a structural line passing through a prescribed place and matching and sewing the division sides 4, 5 of the collar front side portion 2 and the breast side portion 3 in a three-dimensional shape, is characterized by positively protruding the division side 5 of the breast side portion 3 placed at the three-dimensional portion on the side of the collar front side portion 2 in a prescribed curved shape in response to the desired three-dimensional portion, and then matching and sewing the division side 4 of the collar front side portion 2 to the division side 5 of the breast side portion 3. Thereby, the protruded portion of the division side 5 of the breast side portion 3 is raised to obtain the prescribed three-dimensional shape at the position, and the formed front padding little changes the distance between the side and the waist from that, before the portions are sewed.
