A gasket (1) for electromagnetic wave shielding, which is formed by integrating a gasket body (2) and an electrically conductive nonwoven cloth or woven cloth and in which a seal section is formed at an area excluding the area of the conductive nonwoven cloth or woven cloth. Such a gasket for electromagnetic wave shielding is generally formed by integrating the gasket body (2) with the conductive nonwoven cloth or woven cloth, at an end section of the gasket body (2), preferably at an end section of the gasket body (2) having a lip-like ridge (3), and particularly preferably, the gasket is formed by integrating the gasket body with an outer peripheral section (6) of the conductive nonwoven cloth or woven cloth (5), at an inner peripheral section (4) of the annular gasket body having the lip-like projection (3).
