The method involves placing a hole in a shell of a vehicle body (18), vehicle door or vehicle window, and designing retaining points for retaining of resting units. A projection at a housing (3) of an electrical small drive (1) is inserted into the hole. The small drive is deviated at an axis running in the hole, and the small drive is interlocked into a received position against twisting through an interlocking unit. An independent claim is also included for an electrical small drive for use in a method for fixing an electrical small drive to a vehicle body, vehicle door or vehicle window.
