ACTIVE FORM OF SUBTILISIN AT LOW TEMPERATURE

It is intended to provide a mutated subtilisin that can exert a more excellent enzyme activity compared with a wild-type enzyme in a given environment selected from the temperature range from 0 to 30°C. This is realized by a mutated subtilisin in which at least the amino acid at the 205th position from the N-terminus in the wild-type subtilisin (wild-type enzyme) comprising the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 1 has been mutated. Further, a mutated subtilisin in which the amino acid at the 107th position and/or the 131st position have/has been modified also has an excellent enzyme activity.
