A bubble dispersion processing device and a bubble dispersion processing method, in which gas in an airtight space (R1) is discharged from an exhaust opening (120c) to the outside by using a gas discharge device to cause a first sheet member (201U) and a second sheet member (201L) to be pressed and in intimate contact with both major surfaces of a color liquid crystal display (10). As a result, the first sheet member (201U) and the second sheet member (201L) press the polarizing plates (2, 3) of the color liquid crystal display (10) toward a liquid crystal cell substrate (1), enabling dispersion of bubbles to be accelerated. Consequently, the bubble dispersion processing device and the bubble dispersion processing method have a simple facility construction and can enhance processing efficiency.
