<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-resistant sealing device having a longer service life while preventing the surface burn or breakage of a lip part under high-pressure and high-speed environment. <P>SOLUTION: The pressure-resistant sealing device comprises a seal body 1 provided between an inside member 4 to be rotated and an outside member 5 externally fitted to the inside member 4 and mounted on the outside member 5 and the lip part 2 having a lip front end 3 in contact with an outer peripheral face 4a of the inside member 4 to seal sealed fluid between a high pressure chamber A storing the sealed fluid and a low pressure side B. On a portion of an inner peripheral face 2a of the lip part 2 ranging the lip front end 3 to the low pressure side B, a protruded strip 7 is formed which is inclined to the direction of the axial center to allow the leakage of the sealed fluid from the high pressure chamber A to the low pressure side B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
