<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a fuel cell sufficiently low in contact resistance and excellent in resistance to corrosion. <P>SOLUTION: A separator for a fuel cell is made of a resin and a conductive resin composition including a carbon material containing expanded graphite and an exposure area of the carbon material on a barrier rib upper face is 10 to 90% to a whole surface area of the upper face. The resin is a phenol resin or an epoxy resin, and the carbon material is exposed so that the upper face becomes an area ratio of 10 to 90% to the whole surface area of the upper face by at least one of blast process mechanical polishing processing, heating processing, plasma processing, and oxidant processing after forming the composition in a separator shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
