<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content editing system capable of simultaneously editing different parts of the same contents. <P>SOLUTION: An editing server 100 stores contents for the unit of a block and permits editing for a client 200A for said unit. When editing of contents is requested, the editing server 100 locks a requested block so as not to be edited from the other and transmits that block to a client of a request source. In the client 200A, editing operations performed on the block are sequentially stored as editing history information, collectively transmitted to the editing server 100 at the end of editing. The editing server 100 which receives the editing history information, performs the editing operations contained in the editing history information on the contents, updates the contents, and then unlocks the block that has been locked. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
