<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control unit and a control method in a dual system capable of accelerating shared memory control. <P>SOLUTION: Where a first control unit 10 operates as an active system, and a second control unit 20 operates as a standby system, a controller 14 outputs the data to be transferred to the second control unit 20 to the buffer memory 16 of an FIFO system.
