IGNITION DISTRIBUTION METHOD AND DEVICE FOR COMBUSTION ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition distribution method and a device for a combustion engine.

SOLUTION: The method and device for operating the internal combustion engine are provided. This method comprises steps for: introducing primary fuel into a main combustion chamber of the engine; introducing pilot fuel into the main combustion chamber of the engine; deciding engine operation load; deciding desired ignition timing of spark plug based on the engine operation load; and igniting primary fuel and pilot fuel at the desired ignition timing by a spark plug. In this method, an octane value of pilot fuel is smaller than that of primary fuel.
