PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of simultaneously performing the confirmation display of moving images and still images and preserving only required still images. SOLUTION: A digital camera 10 is provided with an LCD 52 for displaying the moving images during photographing and an LCD 54 for displaying photographed still images. When a shutter button 44 for the moving image is depressed, picked-up digital image data are outputted from a moving image processing part 28, displayed on the LCD 52 by an LCD control part 32, and displayed on the LCD 54 by an LCD control part 34. When a still image shutter button 46 is depressed while photographing the moving images, the picked-up digital image data are outputted from a still image processing part 26 and displayed on the LCD 54 by the LCD control part 34.
