PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory management device which can realize a function for updating the contents of a nonvolatile memory while having an inexpensive constitution with a ROM used for a sub-CPU is small in size. SOLUTION: A main CPU 106 is provided with; a reception means 113 which receives an operation program, which operates on one or more sub-CPUs 112, from the outside; and a first communication means 110 which transmits an updating program and an operation program, which both operate on the sub-CPUs 112, to the sub-CPUs 112. The sub-CPU 112 is provided with; a second communication means 113 which receives the updating program and the operation program from the main CPU 106; a RAM 115 which temporarily stores the updating program received by the second communication means 113; a non-rewritable memory 114 which stores a storing program for storing the updating program thus received in the RAM 115; and a nonvolatile memory 114 which stores the operation program received by the second communication means 113.
