PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-accuracy molecular weight measuring method with one crest for the chromate peak which can prevent decomposition of fluorine-based polymer that has a ion-exchange group. SOLUTION: In this method, a solvent which can dissolve the fluorinated high polymer containing ion-exchange group (provisional publication of a patent 2003-183467) is used to dissolve the polymer under, the pressure and temperature conditions where no decomposition of the polymer is caused, and the solvent with its solubility parameter ranging within 8≤δ<14 is used for mobile phase, thereby SEC measurement with one crest of chromatographic peaks, which could not be achieved by conventional methods, becomes possible.
