PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the adjustment of a communication stop period so that a communication time improved in communication efficiency is allocated even if a new network is added. SOLUTION: A network camera 101 connected to a plurality of networks 106 to 108 and capable of making communication with network adaptors 100, 102 and 103 constituting networks wherein the number of the connected networks can dynamically be increased and decreased includes a communication means which sequentially and continuously performs communication in a prescribed period between each network adapter which constitutes the connected network. On the other hand, when the number of the connected networks is increased and decreased, the network camera 101 determines communication timing for each network adaptor, informs the corresponding network adaptor about each determined communication timing, and activates the communication means according to each determined communication timing.
