PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boot for a constant-velocity joint capable of keeping high sealability, reducing resistance in being fitted to a counterpart, and achieving moderation feeling in completion of fitting. SOLUTION: A plurality of overhanging portions 3 extending axially outward from an end face, and positioning projections 30 projected to a radial inner peripheral side from the overhanging portions 3 and engaged with recessed portions 22 formed on an outer peripheral surface of the counterpart 2 are formed on a tip of a large-diameter cylindrical portion 11. As the positioning projections 30 are formed on the overhanging portions 3, that is, they are shifted from a fastening margin of a fastening member, the sealability is not affected thereby. As the overhanging portions 3 have the cantilevered shape, and axially out of a position of a modified cross-section portion, they can be easily elastically deformed, and do not restrict the enlargement of a diameter of the large-diameter cylindrical portion. As the resistance in fitting can be reduced, and the overhanging portions 3 restore the original shape by large elastic reactive force, when the positioning projections 30 reach positions of the recessed portions 22, the proper moderation feeling can be obtained.
