PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lead damper capable of obtaining sufficient damping performance and being reduced in its size and weight. SOLUTION: This lead damper is composed of a damper main body 1 composed of lead mass, and arms 2 respectively mounted between each of both end portions of the damper main body and a structure, and transmitting the vibration of the structure to the damper main body for torsionally plastically deforming the damper main body. Circular flange portions 3 projecting outside are integrally formed on both end portions of the damper main body, flange portions 7 corresponding thereto are formed on basic end outer peripheral portions of the arms, and these flanges are fastened by bolts, thus the basic end portions of the arms are relatively unrotatably connected with the damper main body, and tip end portions of the arms are relatively rotatably connected with the structure. The whole components are bolted in a state that the flange portions of the damper main body are held by a reinforcement plate 11 used also as a washer and the flange portions of the arms over the whole circumference from its both face sides.
