PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silent chain transmission device having reduced vibration noises for performing further smooth rotation. SOLUTION: The silent chain transmission device 1 comprises a sprocket wheel 5 having a preset number of toothed portions meshing with toothed portions of a silent chain 3. The sprocket wheel 5 is formed in a toothed shape created by using a rack 11 having the same shape as the toothed portion outer shape of a first link plate 7 in a desired outer shape when arranged linearly.
