PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable low cost compressor by preventing wear due to uneven contact of a main shaft and a main bearing caused by inclination of the main shaft in the main bearing during compression stroke. SOLUTION: This compressor is provided with the main shaft 107 and the main bearing 111 to support the main shaft. The main bearing 107 has spiral groove 118 formed on a slide surface with the main bearing 111, and stiffness ratio Gb/Gc of bending stiffness Gb of the main bearing 111 and bending stiffness Gc of the main shaft 107 is kept 1.8 or higher in a straight part 123 of the main bearing 111 where wall thickness is thinnest. When compression load is applied, contact area of the main shaft 107 and the main bearing 111 increases to reduce wear due to uneven contact. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
