PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop an extra-cabin front view mirror for an automobile to be installed behind an extra-cabin rear view mirror, capable of reflecting the road surface situation around the front wheels which may be in a dead angle of the automobile and allowing the driver to view easily the situation on the extra-cabin rear view mirror and provide a mounting and using method of such a front view mirror. SOLUTION: The extra-cabin front view mirror for the automobile is composed of a mirror body 1a having a spherical convex mirror 1b, a front view mirror supporting part 2a for fixing the mirror body 1a, and a body fixing part 3a for fixing the front view mirror supporting part 2a to the body.
