PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid bleaching agent composition that has strong bleaching power, high viscosity and excellent viscosity stability and to provide a method for simply thickening a liquid bleaching agent composition at a low cost and a method for producing a liquid bleaching agent composition. SOLUTION: The liquid bleaching agent composition comprises (a) 0.1-6% by mass of hydrogen peroxide or a compound to form hydrogen peroxide in water, (b) 5-30% by mass of a nonionic surfactant having≥10.8 and <13.0 HLB and (c) 0.5-5% by mass of one or more kinds of inorganic salts selected from the group consisting of an alkali metal salt and an alkaline earth metal salt of phosphoric acid or sulfuric acid and has the mass ratio [component (b)/component (c)] of the component (b) to the component (c) of 50/1-2/1, pH 1-6.5 at 20°C and 50-1,000mPa×s viscosity at 20°C.
