<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store batteries in a case with a reliable waterproof structure while effectively cooling the batteries without the limitation of a cooling heat quantity. <P>SOLUTION: A battery pack comprises a plurality of secondary batteries 2 stored in a case 1. The case 1 comprises an outer case 3 and an inner case 4 provided inside the outer case 3. In the case 1, the inner case 4 is sealed to form a watertight structure and the secondary batteries 2 are stored therein. A hollow layer 5 is further formed between the outer case 3 and the inner case 4, and the outer case 3 has a ventilation hole 6 to make the hollow layer 5 open to the outside. The battery pack allows air to go out of and come into the hollow layer 5 through the ventilation hole 6 and cools the secondary batteries 2 via the inner case 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
