<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hospital appointment system that, based on diagnostic information, determines details of corresponding disease and its degree of urgency, searches for the most appropriate hospital and makes an appointment based on the availability of each hospital at that time, and dispatches an ambulance as necessary. <P>SOLUTION: The hospital appointment system includes a center server 20 and a disease information database in which values or numerical ranges of diagnostic elements corresponding to different input items about diagnostic information and names of corresponding diseases and their degrees of urgency are registered in advance. The center server searches the disease information database according to the diagnostic information acquired from a user terminal and determines details of the user's disease and its degree of urgency by extracting a record where all the values or numerical ranges of the input items about the diagnostic information match the diagnostic information.
