PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of preventing performance reduction in the heat exchanger due to brazing failure, by surely brazing a partition plate. SOLUTION: In a header pipe 11 of a condenser, when the condenser is laid down substantially horizontally for splashing flux from above, a slit 21 for inserting the partition plate 30 is formed so as to be positioned on the upper side. The flux is excellently soaked in by forming the slit 21 as a deformed shape such as a tapered trapezoidal shape so that clearance with the partition plate 30 becomes partially wide.
