PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent that an operation failure and part corrosion are generated because the flux for soldering operation invades from a crack when mounting a multi-directional switch for a mobile phone and a video camera or the like to a motherboard. SOLUTION: A substrate 1 made as the bottom, a case constituted by laminating a spacer 22 with a hole for the insertion of a baton spring, a cover sheet 23, and the upper frame 24 at which a dead space 24a is formed are provided. The baton spring 25 is arranged at the center, a square baton spring 26 is arranged at its circumstance, a center plunger 27 and a peripheral plunger 28 fitted to this are put on it, and protrusions 27c, 28a of lower faces of the plungers are contacted with the respective baton springs through the cover sheet. The baton springs and a contact electrode are sealed by the cover sheet in a recess formed by a substrate and a hole of the spacer, and does not accept the intrusions of the flux.
