PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a ring member furnished with a grinding process capable of polishing and deburring, realizing uniform polishing and completing polishing and deburring work in a short period of time. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of the ring member 1 having a process to carry out grinding with a grinding brush 2 mounted with a brush 12 on an outer periphery of a cylindrical brush shaft 11 has a process where the side of an inner peripheral surface 1a or the side of an outer peripheral surface 1b of the ring member 1 and the grinding brush 2 push against each other and a process where the grinding brush 2 relatively and reciprocally moves against the ring member 1 by a stroke quantity more than the length totalling the width of the ring member 1 and the width of the grinding brush 2 in the axial direction of the ring member 1 while relatively rotating the grinding brush 2 and the ring member 1.
