PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel household game machine having a game operation section of operating a hitting lever not employed heretofore, wherein a game piece is pneumatically lifted slightly above a game surface,. SOLUTION: The household game machine has the game surface provided on the top face of a game board for playing a game by pneumatically lifting the game piece slightly, a grip section provided on and protruding from the side face of the game board, a grip operation lever provided on the grip section capable of being gripped and squeezed, and a piece hitting lever operated to hit the game piece on the game surface by a gripping/squeezing operation of the grip operation lever.
