<p>A method and apparatus are disclosed for providing a terahertz band filter. The apparatus includes a dielectric layer and a microstrip line deposited on the dielectric layer having at least one stub extending therefrom on the dielectric layer. The length of the stub is selected to determine a centre frequency for the Band Stop Filter.</p>
