<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evade the enlargement and complication of an apparatus for agitation or the like and to suppress and stabilize density fluctuation recognized on an image after forming the image without wasting ink by correcting density by using an image processing at the time of forming the image especially even in the case of using the ink in which the color material of pigment ink settles and the density easily fluctuates in an ink-jet image forming system. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: an input means for image signals; an information acquisition means for acquiring history information relating to image formation or use information based on a use condition to be used for the image formation; an image conversion control means for determining a conversion method in a conversion means on the basis of at least one piece of the information obtained by the information acquisition means; a first control means for changing the image conversion control means over time on the basis of the acquired information by the information acquisition means; and a second control means for correcting the control state of the first control means by a correction means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
