<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein system time of each client is not always coincident with system time of a server and thereby printing environment of the client cannot be surely updated after the same date and time even when it is desirable to patch all of the clients in the printing environment. <P>SOLUTION: When the update file is downloaded to the client, the system time of the server is set for the client, and the printing system is operated in the updated printing environment for any clients after the same date and time, the update time of the client is shifted for the client who cannot set the system time of the server, and the printing environment is updated after the same date and time even for the client having the system time incoincident with that of the server. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
