<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oriented thermoelectric material having a large orientation degree of a crystal and an excellent thermoelectric characteristic, and also to provide a method for manufacturing the oriented thermoelectric material. <P>SOLUTION: The oriented thermoelectric material having the large orientation degree of a crystal and the excellent thermoelectric characteristic can be obtained by forming a thermoelectric material or a thermoelectric material molded body in a magnetic field by using the anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility, and if necessary, by performing densifying or the like by heat treatment in a magnetic field. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
