<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector capable of reinforcing a mate side case having a solder part of a signal terminal sufficiently soldered on a circuit board. <P>SOLUTION: A bottom plate 22 of a housing 20 is not pushed toward outside when a mate side connector 50 is inserted into a mate side case. By this, the mate side case is hardly broken. Further, it is unnecessary to arrange a grounding part extending outward on a grounding terminal 30 since a second contact part 322 can be grounded. The solder part 430 of the signal terminal 40 can be sufficiently soldered on a circuit board. A storing part 113 and a communication part for storing the terminals 30, 40, and a concave 120 storing a third contact part 421 are formed in an insulation body 10. The insulation body 10 and the housing 20 have an insertion part 221 into which the first contact part 321 of the grounding terminal 30 is inserted.
