<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quality evaluation support device and a quality evaluation support program for compressed video information, capable of simultaneously performing objective evaluation and subjective evaluation and performing accurate evaluation with less variance while using the perception of a human. <P>SOLUTION: The quality evaluation support device for the compressed video information used for evaluating the quality of the compressed video information by comparing original video images with reproduced video images for which the pieces of the compressed video information A and B obtained by compressing the original video images in encoders (a) and (b) are reproduced comprises: a display 2; a compressed video image reproduction means P1 for reproducing the pieces of the compressed video information A and B and displaying them at a part of the display 2; and a video comparison means P3 for comparing the reproduced video images reproduced by the compressed video image reproduction means P1 with the original video image in real time and making the result of comparison be displayed on a part of the display 2 in real time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
