<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a channel allocation control method which is flexibly adaptable to services of various transmission rates such as audio or data communication in a code division multiple access communication. <P>SOLUTION: In the channel allocation control method, a load required for channel processing is compared with a processable allowable load to allocate a channel so as not to exceed the allowable load. The method has a process for establishing synchronization capture in a change destination and then performing switching when changing the allocation to process a channel under processing by other hardware.
