<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a GUI having satisfactory operability, where the GUI comprises a bar meaning entire length and cursor indicating a current reproduction position on the bar by solving the problem wherein the longer the length of entire data becomes, the slower the travel speed of the cursor becomes in a conventional GUI whose usability is unsatisfactory in a system for editing and reproducing data accompanying a time axis, such as moving images and voice. <P>SOLUTION: Two bars A, B for expressing the time axis are provided. The bar A expresses the whole as before. The bar A is divided for each fixed time. The bar B expresses each period.
