<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and an image processing method in which high speed drawing processing is ensured while saving memory by not creating redundant components being removed after rasterization. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus comprises a means for inputting a drawing instruction, a means for analyzing the drawing instruction being inputted, a means for drawing an image based on the results from the drawing instruction analyzing means, and a means for encoding an image outputted from the drawing means and capable of altering the rate of encoding by parameters wherein the drawing means alters resolution for each color space or color of an image to be outputted by parameters of the encoding means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
