PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for transmitting the data of the quantity of state of a field without laying extra wiring from the field to a center in such a system as a monitor camera is provided in the field and central monitoring is performed. SOLUTION: A required quantity of state is taken in using a data input means and its data is buried in the monitor camera image by using an image processor. More specifically, coordinate for burying the data is predetermined and it is buried there as brightness data. Video data buried with this quantity of state is transmitted as a camera image to a center. An image processor is also provided on the center side and the quantity of state of the source is obtained by reading the brightness data at a predetermined position of the image.
