PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buffer material assuring safety and easy to use, designed with pedestrians and small animals such as dog and cat taken into consideration. SOLUTION: The buffer material chiefly consisting of polyurethane of low repulsive nature is attached to a front bumper so that the load due to a shock applied from a bumper in the event of a contact is reduced, whereby pedestrians and small animals are protected against the shock.
