PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hygroscopic agent exhibiting hygroscopic function in a paste-like material by heat treatment and having a nature fitted to application by a screen printing method. SOLUTION: The paste-like hygroscopic agent for screen printing is prepared by mixing 8-22 wt.% of heat curable organo-polysiloxane as a binding material and 35-65 wt.% of any one of alcohol, hydrocarbon, ester, ketone and polyvalent alcohol derivative as a solvent of the binding material with 27-52 wt.% of zeolite constituted by 95 wt.% or higher of particles having the maximum particle diameter of 15μm and the particle diameter of 10μm or smaller as a hygroscopic media, and thereafter, is adjusted to viscosity of 50,000-500,000 mPas via a step for reducing a volatile component.
