The earth bar element (1) has a head (12) which is fastened to the attachment section (13) to which guidance section (14) is connected. The electrical connection (2) is arranged between the head and first side of auto body steel sheet (4). The ductile contact section (11) is connected both electrically and mechanically to auto body steel sheet and is arranged to second side of auto body steel sheet. An independent claim is also included for the method for fastening the earth bar element.
