<p>Disclosed is a method for producing a vinyl silane represented by the general formula (1) below, by which method a vinyl silane represented by the general formula (1) can be produced safely, easily and highly selectively from a vinyl halogen compound and a halogenated silicon compound as the main product. Specifically disclosed is a method for producing a vinyl silane represented by the general formula (1) below [for example, (1-trifluoromethylvinyl)trimethylsilane] by reacting a vinyl halogen compound with a halogenated silicon compound in a non-protic solvent in the presence of aluminum.</p>
