COATING COMPOSITION FOR WEATHERSTRIPS OF AUTOMOBILE VEHICLES

Disclosed herein is a coating composition for automobile weatherstrips, in which inexpensive and readily handleable general-purpose polyolefin resins (i.e., a HDPE having MI of 1 dg/min or less, and HDPE having MI of 20 dg/min or more) are used in a coating agent for a preparation of thin film to protect the portion of a glass run channel that contacts the window glass of an automobile door under pressure when the window is opened and closed by vertical movement of the window glass. The present invention provides economic benefits as well as uniform desired properties.
