An electronic dimmer 11 for lighting that includes a programmable means 12 associated with a dimmer circuit. The programmable means 12 to dim associated lighting is operated by a remote control 10 connected via conventional two-way wiring 14. One or more remote controls 10 may be connected to the dimmer 11 in parallel. The dimmer 11 can then be controlled from multiple locations using existing wiring 14. A rectifier diode 16 may be connected in series with the remote controls 10 to prevent capacitive coupling to earth. |
