The method for flowable excrement is carried out in a system, in which a drain pipeline (3, 4) extending from a reception opening (expectorant basin 16), in which a collection container (2) and/or an odour seal (2.1) are arranged. An electrical control unit automatically controls the drain system. The excrement is conveyed using a downflow side suction system (65, fig.12) through the drain system. Water and/or air is conveyed through the drain pipe line (3, 4) or a part (4) of it, continuously or in determined or selectable timed intervals.
