<p>A component (10) of an air bag module which can be the carrier of the gas generator or a segment of the housing comprises a gas outlet (12) for releasing a part of the generated gas from the system. A plate (14) is attached to the inner surface of the component (10) at a distance created by several elastic elements (16). The elements (16) are positioned around the outlet (12) forming gas ducts of a height determined by the position of the plate (14) pressed against the elements (16) and reducing the height when the pressure in the module is increased.</p> |
