FIELD: processing of silt mixtures before separation thereof, in particular, biological purification of sewage water. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus has vertical cylindrical casing 1 crowned with funnel 2, and pipe 3 for introducing of silt mixture. Basic silt mixture is introduced through pipe into layer of dispersion material, for example sand 4, at a velocity providing full carrying out of active silt particles and preventing carrying out of sand particles, is risen along cylindrical part of casing from the bottom to the top to be further delivered into funnel. Sand particles are settled back in cylindrical part and active silt particles are carried out in conjunction with silt mixture flow through funnel upper edge. Processed silt mixture is then delivered for separation. ^ EFFECT: reduced time for settling of silt mixtures and increased efficiency in separating of said mixtures. ^ 1 dwg |
