A spiro silane compound can be applied in the organic electroluminescent device as the host material of the light emission layer, and represented by the following formula: wherein Ar₁, Ar₂ and Ar₃ are independently selected from the group consisting of a phenyl group, a spirobifluorene group and an alkyl group.
