FIELD: rolled stock production, namely apparatuses for transporting and feeding to rolling mill blanks such as ingots, continuously cast billets, tube blanks. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes driven rail car; horizontal platform with lateral walls mounted in frame of car with possibility of changing its position. Platform is provided with driven roller table and it is arranged normally relative to axis of frame of car. One lateral wall of platform is jointly secured to struts rigidly mounted in frame of car. Second lateral wall is joined with mechanism for slightly rocking platform and made in the form of "screw-nut" transmission whose nut internal gearing is engaged with sleeve rigidly secured to lateral wall mounted with possibility of motion on screw of said transmission. Upper end of nut engages with said sleeve along spherical surface. Base of screw is provided with spherical bearing unit arranged in hollow shaft of reduction gear and joined with it through internal gearing. Teeth of shaft are engaged with rotation drive unit of screw. Said drive unit is stationary mounted on car frame. Radiuses of spherical surfaces of nut and screw are coincided with radiuses of turning of engaged gear wheels. ^ EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities of apparatus due to feeding different-diameter blanks, improved efficiency of apparatus. ^ 5 dwg, 1 ex |
