FIELD: crude oil treatment. ^ SUBSTANCE: estimation of readiness of crude oil emulsions for separation under oil-field conditions is executed according to "residual level of water in oil" criterion, for which threshold value is established. When residual level of water exceeds threshold value, microdispersed analysis is carried out to estimate qualitative condition of water in oil and thereby to draw conclusion about sufficiency, insufficiency, or excessiveness of feeding emulsifier in oil collection system. Thereafter, sensitivity of emulsion to additional introduction of demulsifier or emulsion not treated with demulsifier is tested. According to this information, corresponding increase or reduction in feeding of demulsifier in oil collection system is performed. ^ EFFECT: increased degree of readiness of crude oil emulsions for separation at decreased time to perform analysis. ^ 4 dwg |
