SURGICAL METHOD FOR TREATING SUPPURATIVE EPITHELIAL COCCYGEAL PASSAGE CASES

FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves closing operation wound by placing suture. The first needle introduction brings thread through sacrococcygeal ligament. The second needle introduction conducts the thread over the wound bottom through sacrococcygeal ligament as it was the case in the first pierce. Puncturing incisions reaching the cavity formed when removing the coccygeal passage are made 2-3 cm far from suture outside of suture row in upper and lower wound part. Draining silicon tubes are introduced into the created incisions arranged along the sutures. Gauze napkin is placed on wound bottom between wound edges. Inflammation focus is healed using draining tubes. The napkins are methodically changed until exudate discharge from the wound stops. Then the napkin and draining tubes are withdrawn. Suture threads are tied. ^ EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; accelerated wound healing with primary tension; anatomical gluteal fold is formed with strength and soft cicatrix. ^ 3 dwg
